The Topkote Advanced Adhesion Refinishing System builds on our proven Core system by adding Etch-X for enhanced surface bite. Designed for aged porcelain, slick enamel, or previously refinished tubs with unknown prep history, this system provides extra adhesion confidence without stepping up to an epoxy primer.
Built for Surfaces That Need More
The Topkote Advanced Adhesion Refinishing System adds a controlled etch step to the proven Clean → Crosslink → Topcoat process, giving contractors added insurance where adhesion matters most.
Etch-X creates a chemically receptive surface, improving both mechanical and chemical bonding before Crosslink III locks in adhesion. The result is a more forgiving system when conditions aren’t ideal—without adding unnecessary complexity or epoxy primer.

This kit includes everything in the Topkote Core Refinishing System, plus Etch-X:
- 1 Gallon Topkote Degreaser Cleaner
- 1 Quart Prep-Solv
- 2 Quarts Etch-X
- 2 Quarts Crosslink III
- 1 Gallon Topkote Bathtub Topcoat
- 1 Quart Activator
- 2 Quarts Reducer
Enough material to refinish approximately 10–12 bathtubs
