Non-Hydrofluoric Micro-Etching Prep Solution for Porcelain & Ceramic Surfaces

Get the grip. Ditch the danger.

Whether you're refinishing tubs in residential homes or tile surfaces in multi-unit properties, EtchX NH improves coating adhesion by lightly dulling glossy finishes, giving your primer and topcoat something to hold onto.

Key Features:

✅ Non-Hydrofluoric Formula
✅ Easier To Use Than Competetive Gel Formulas
✅ Pleasant Scent
✅ Dulls Gloss for Enhanced Adhesion
✅ Ideal for Porcelain & Ceramic Surfaces
✅ Safer Alternative to Traditional Acid Etches
✅ Fast-Acting Formula

Recommended Use:

Use EtchX NH before primer application on porcelain bathtubs, ceramic tile walls, or countertops to improve coating performance and minimize coating failure due to poor surface prep.

Application Instructions:

  1. Clean the surface thoroughly with Topkote Tub & Tile Cleaner
  2. Shake EtchX NH well. Apply EtchX NH onto the tub or tile surface and use a Scotch-Brite pad or brush to coat the entile surface.
  3. Let dwell for 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly with water and wet sand with 80 grit wet or dry sandpaper.
  4. Clean again with Topkote Tub & Tile Cleaner
  5. Make sure everything is completely dry then proceed with your coating system.

Always wear gloves and eye protection. Test in a small area before full application.
