Hi Gloss Acrylic Urethane coating, consisting of base component B and UR Glaze Activator, component A.

Description: A superior, high performance acrylic urethane system designed specifically for kitchen and bathroom refinishing. UR Glaze is extremely durable and maintains gloss and color retention.

Uses: Designed specifically by refinishers for refinishing of porcelain, ceramic tile, acrylic and fiberglass. Can be applied by airless, conventional, or HVLP spray equipment.

Mixing: UR Glaze is a two component system consisting of base (component B) and activator (component A). The base should be thoroughly agitated to be certain that all pigments are reincorporated. Both components’ temperature must be above 55 ° F before intermixing. Mixing ratio is 4 parts component B to 1 part component A by volume. Thoroughly mix by agitation prior to use. This product has NO induction time, and has a pot life of approximately 2 to 4 hours. DO NOT USE CATALYZED MATERIAL THAT HAS EXCEEDED RECOMMENDED POT LIFE.

Colors: TopKote stocks a full line of standard colors. Special colors are made to order. Contact your representative for further details.

Sheen: High Gloss 90°+ minimum on a 60° gloss meter.

Coverage: Varies by color, one catalyzed gallon will cover approximately 600 sq. ft. at 1 mil. dry film thickness.

Surface Preparation: Clean the surface to be glazed with TopKote Tub & Tile Prep. The surface must be clean and free of moisture, oil, grease, loose paint, rust, polish, and waxes. Old paint films that are soft, cracked or not firmly adhering to the surface may lift or wrinkle when UR Glaze is applied over them. In such cases the old finish should be removed. As a test, glaze a small area to determine compatibility.

Reduction: Use UR REDUCER for desired spray ability.

Clean Up: Use UR REDUCER.

Primer: TopKote Crosslink Adhesive is recommended. UR Glaze is also compatiblewith other primers and preparation systems.

Dry Times:

Dry to touch: 15 - 20 minutes

Dry to handle: 40 – 50 minutes

Dry to use: 24 hrs.

Full cure maximum adhesion and durability is approximately 2 - 4 days.

Pot Life: At 70 ° F, pot life is approximately 2 to 4 hours. If temperature increases, pot life will be shorter.
